Dr. Francesca Xerri is Business Development Lead at Includovate, based in Madrid, Spain. An environmental geographer from Malta, she holds postgraduate degrees from the University of Leeds and Cranfield University, specialising in governance, environmental sustainability, and economic development.
Francesca has contributed to European Union initiatives and multilateral projects across Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia, collaborating with organisations such as the EU, UN, World Bank, AFD, and GIZ. She brings extensive experience in leading tender preparation, proposal writing, and bid management for large-scale international development projects.
At Includovate, she leads global business development efforts, securing projects with a strong focus on long-term sustainability. Francesca is passionate about driving collaborative, innovative solutions to complex international development challenges and delivering lasting global impact.
